about some of the boring stuff!!

Terms and Conditions

Delivery Policy

The Florist can deliver to the customers premises Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 6.00pm 

Orders received after 12.00pm on Saturday or on a Public Holiday will be delivered on the next available working day

Same day delivery can only be made if the order is received before 12.00pm on a normal working day - except for funeral flowers which will require 5 working days notice

To qualify for free delivery the delivery address must be no more than 10 miles from the Florist's premises. A charge of 50p per mile will be made for excess mileage

If the recipient is not at home the flowers will be left in a safe place or with a neighbour. In this case a card will be left with the recipient

If the customer provides the Florist with an incorrect address, the Florist cannot be held responsible for a failed delivery

Ordering and Substitutions

As flowers are natural, seasonal products, florists reserve the right to substitute items with similar, equivalent value products without notice

Cancellations and Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of flowers, orders are generally non-refundable once processed. Cancellation charges may apply

Quality and Complaints

Complaints regarding quality must be made within 7 days of receipt, often requiring photographic evidence. Complaints can be emailed to averilsflowers@gmail.com or in writing to

Liability

The Florist cannot be liable for delays caused by circumstances outside of their control for example in bad weather

Product Care

Customers are responsible for following care instructions provided; bouquets usually have a guaranteed lifespan of 3-7 days

Payment Policy

If orders are made on the website, payment for the items will be made at the time of ordering

If orders are made over the telephone, the Florist will send a payment link to the customer's mobile phone or email address in order to pay for the goods

We are unable to take debit or credit card details over the phone
